Tuition & Payment Options

Pursuing a post-secondary education is a significant investment in your future. Students may use personal resources to cover educational expenses and additional funding options may be available for those who qualify.

Each course has a specific tuition due date. Students are permitted to make partial payments up until the final due date. For instance, if you are enrolled in the Rope Rescue Operations course, you may submit partial payments until the registration deadline. Please note that only the registration fee is required at the time of application to secure your seat in the class. However, additional steps may be necessary to retain your seat. Be sure to regularly check your email for important updates and communications from CSRIPS.

Title IV

Coral Springs Regional Institute of Public Safety is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as an eligible institution under the Higher Education Act of 1965 (HEA). This designation confirms our eligibility to participate in Federal Student Financial Aid Programs (Title IV), as determined by the Secretary of Education.

Although we are not currently participating in Title IV federal aid programs, this Title IV eligible status allows our institution and students to benefit from several important advantages, including:

  • Eligibility for the American Opportunity and Lifetime Learning tax credits
  • Qualification for in-school deferment of federal student loan payments
  • Inclusion in the U.S. Department of Education’s Directory of Postsecondary Institutions

* Because we do not participate in Title IV aid programs, students do not need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to receive federal financial aid for use at our institution

Alternative Loans

If you have utilized all other forms of financial aid and still require additional funding to pay your education, banks and other lending corporations make available education loans which require you and sometimes a co-signer to pass a credit check. These loans vary according to each lender. You should look into them closely before committing to a particular lender in order to determine your responsibilities according to their terms and conditions.

Sallie Mae Loans

The Coral Springs Regional Institute of Public Safety is now approved to receive payment from Sallie Mae. CSRIPS will only accept payment for the tuition; no Sallie Mae funds will be applied to fees for EMT, Paramedic and/or Fire classes.

CSRIPS will not accept an amount larger than the tuition sum provided on the class invoice. Please visit Sallie Mae for more information.
